Meet Chandra

Chandra D. Jarrett’s story is one of faith, resilience, and redemption; a journey that bridges corporate America and ministry.

A graduate of Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Chandra spent more than fifteen years in the automotive industry with companies such as General Motors, Chrysler, and Saturn Corporation. While she was building cars, God was quietly building something in her.

In boardrooms, Bible studies, and training rooms, Chandra naturally found herself mentoring and developing others. Over time she realized that what she loved most wasn’t the machines. It was helping people grow as leaders.

As she often says, “I spent fifteen years building cars. Now I build lives.”

After two years of journaling and seeking God about her purpose, Chandra made the courageous decision to leave corporate life and follow a deeper calling: helping believers live victoriously and lead authentically.

Over the years, she has walked alongside countless individuals navigating seasons of brokenness, guiding them toward healing, purpose, and restoration in Christ. During this time, she also founded Sister Strengthening Sisters, a nonprofit organization dedicated to encouraging, equipping and empowering women heal, grow, and lead from a place of wholeness.

Today, Chandra coaches and consults leaders across corporate, nonprofit, and ministry environments, bringing both strategic insight and spiritual wisdom to the leaders she serves.

Her work focuses on helping leaders grow in emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and leadership clarity so they can build healthy teams and thriving cultures.

A storyteller at heart, Chandra’s transparency and warmth invite others to believe that no detour is wasted and no wound is too deep for God to redeem.

Her message also flows through her writing, including her books:

  • What I Wish I Knew About Abortion

  • How Cancer Saved My Life: Rediscovering Life in a Deadly Place

  • Shatter Your Glass Ceiling: 30 Days of Spirit-Led Affirmations for Christian Women in the Marketplace and Ministry

  • Lipstick, Lattes, and Leadership: Love Letters to Women Who Live, Love, and Lead with Faith

Chandra is the proud mother of one son, Marcus Jr. He and his wife, Natalie, have two daughters, London and Milan, who bring her immeasurable joy.

A few thoughts from Chandra...

Thank you for taking the time to visit my site. I’m grateful you’re here and would welcome the opportunity to serve you, your team, or your ministry.

For years, I have found myself branding and rebranding my work trying to explain the two spaces where I spend most of my time: leadership development in corporate environments and leadership development in ministry. For a long time, I felt like I needed to keep those worlds separate.

In 2026, something finally clicked.

I realized that I am simply a woman who loves Jesus and loves equipping leaders in both plain glass and stained glass spaces. The truth is, I value both environments and the impact they have on our lives. Leadership happens in boardrooms, nonprofits, businesses, churches, and ministries and I believe our character and leadership should be consistent in every space we enter.

Why does this work matter to me?

Over the years, I’ve watched well-meaning believers in corporate America spend more time trying to witness about Jesus than actually doing the work they were hired to do. I believe when we are entrusted with a role, we should do that work with excellence. When our work ethic, integrity, and character reflect Christ, it naturally creates opportunities for others to

see something different in us. Our witness is flows out of living a life that honors Christ and our employer.

At the same time, I have worked with Christian-owned businesses and organizations that failed to model the very values they claimed to represent, cheating clients, damaging relationships, and compromising their integrity. When that happens, it leaves a stain not only on the business, but also on the hearts of the people impacted.

That’s why I believe our light should shine in both plain glass and stained glass spaces because leadership itself is part of our witness. Our lives should be like lamps or lights that brighten a room. We don't hear them, yet we experience the beauty of the light they bring to every place and every space we enter.

Develop individuals and team to lead with integrity, values, and humility is important to me because I believe that how we lead, live, and love others should reflect the values we claim to believe. As leaders, we must be intentional, growing in self- awareness, learning to lead ourselves well, and aligning our leadership with integrity and wisdom. Our lives should be a living testimony of the God we serve, even when we never preach a sermon.

Through coaching, training, and speaking, I equip leaders to lead with clarity, advance with strategy, and influence with integrity. I believe that healthy leaders create healthy teams, and healthy teams create healthy cultures.

Leadership gives us the opportunity to influence others in ways that shape organizations, communities, and lives. My passion is helping leaders do that well without compromising their faith, their values, or their integrity.

If this resonates with you, I would love the opportunity to connect. Schedule a consultation today, and let’s explore how I can serve you, your team, or your organization.
